About David

I am a workshop facilitator and certified Yoga teacher-trainer. I am passionate about helping individuals cultivate increased presence and resilience in their personal and professional lives through the practices of yoga and mindfulness. I am interested in scientifically proven mind/body interventions as healing modalities for stress-related conditions.

I co-teach 3 day and 5 day workshops at the Kripalu Institute for Yoga & Health on the “Neuroscience of Buddhism and Yoga” and “Insight Meditation and Yoga for Clarity, Compassion and Balance”.

I facilitate classes in Trauma-Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TC-TSY) in diverse clinical settings. TC-TSY is an empirically validated, adjunctive clinical treatment for complex trauma or chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD. Developed at the Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts, TSY has foundations in Trauma Theory, Attachment Theory, and Neuroscience as well as Hatha Yoga practice with an emphasis on body-based yoga forms and breathing practices.

I am also on the teaching faculty for the TC-TSY certificate program offered through the Trauma Center in Brookline, MA. I regularly offer 2-hour seminars on TC-TSY to clinicians in the Greater Boston area.

I am a co-founder and board member of True North Insight, a Canadian charitable organization offering a full schedule of Buddhist insight meditation retreats and courses in English and French.
